The Marano family has been preparing fig specialties for more than 90 years. Their figs are picked by hand in the heart of Calabria, in the hills of Cosenza. They are then dried and further transformed in the Marano family facility. Coroncine and Trecce figs are threaded by hand on myrtle branches into their namesake shapes, before being coated with sugar, cinnamon and laurel and slowly baked to infuse them with a spicy, caramelized flavor.
